Je m’appelle Meishair. Je suis née et ai été élevée dans un des pays les plus religieux au monde, ou probablement le pays le plus religieux au monde : le royaume d'Arabie saoudite.
J’avais dix ans lorsqu’un incident a changé ma perception de la société.
En tant que femme, il est très difficile de grandir dans une telle société : beaucoup de choses sont imposées et peu d’options s’offrent à elles.
Voici comment j’ai réussi à composer avec cette société et comment j’ai pu m’en affranchir.
Aujourd’hui, je me sens libre et puissante. C'est comme si je dansais avec mon âme sur la plage au clair de lune…
Selon les croyances de chacun, certains penseront que je suis une honteuse rebelle, une scandaleuse rebelle ou une vaillante rebelle…

Born and raised in Saudi, Meshair came from a big family with seven siblings. Her parents are from Somalia and migrated to Saudi to start a family and raise them in religious beliefs and provide safe living. Meshair is the middle child, three older and three younger and always had that different chemistry that secluded her from the entire society. She speaks four languages and had travelled the world. She is 34 and married to Francois. Francois is from France & he is a Pastry Chef.Meshair is a high school graduate and had some entry level jobs in different countries. She first worked in HSBC as a customer service through telephones in Riyadh. Then worked in the Four Seasons Hotels and other small hotels as an administrator.
