The Wind has mysteriously caused the death of all people on earth -- except for Zoo. As the last remaining person on earth, he must deal with this extraordinary situation, and the result is a series of dreams, shocks, hallucinations, events, explorations and the final outcome in the light of his changing understanding.

About the author
David Zieroth
The author of numerous books in various genres, David Zieroth’s poetry collection, The Fly in Autumn(Harbour), won the Governor General’s Literary Award in 2009 and was nominated for the Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize and the Acorn-Plantos Award for People’s Poetry in 2010. He won the Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize for How I Joined Humanity at Last (Harbour, 1998). A short prose manuscript entitled The November Optimist was published in 2013 by Gaspereau Press. His most recent book of poetry is Albrecht Dürer and me (Harbour). His work has been included in the Best Canadian Poetryseries and been shortlisted for National Magazine and Relit Awards. In 2008 he founded The Alfred Gustav Press, a micro press for publishing poetry. He lives in North Vancouver, BC.
