A robber falls in love with a landlord’s daughter Bess. Their love seems impossible from the beginning but they are willing to fight for it. The circumstances are however not on their side. An ostler is jealous of the robber and decides to betray him to the authorities. Bess tries to stop him. But will she succeed?
